Glasgow City Council. A Vision + Plan for the Golden Z
Glasgow City Council is currently devising a new Vision and Plan for the City Centre’s iconic ‘Golden Z’, informed by the evidence collected by the REPAIR Project Team. A consultant team was appointed in November 2022 – comprising Stantec (UK), Threesixty Architecture and Kevin Murray Associates – to engage stakeholders in a collaborative process to create a vision that reimagines the future of the ‘Golden Z’. A Summary of the draft new Vision and Plan was presented to the Council’s Economy, Housing, Transport and Regeneration City Policy Committee on 30 May 2023 for review with the final stakeholder workshop scheduled for 11.30-1.30 on 14th August 2023.
Dr Allison M Orr will join the expert panel (George Gillespie (GCC NRS), Stuart Patrick, Mark Roberston (Ryden) and Andy McKinlay (Ediston)) at the final stakeholder event that will disseminate and consult on the vision + plan proposed for the golden z in Glasgow city centre.
The event has been moved from The Lighthouse, and will now run in Merchant House.
